Made it 2 Borroloola late sat arvo...110kms 2day. Bloody hard...really was the road 2 & from Hells Gate. Found some gr8 camp spots once we got into NT area. camped out 4 nites in bush camps & r fed up with sui mins. Road condiitions were rough, corrigated & worse...sandy...so exhausting esp when hot n dry. Our bodies started getting weaker n thinner...think we had some physical melt down in the muscle tissue...hav'nt jumped on the scales yet but rek'n we've lost bout 5kg each ...we r taking it a bit easier now. 2 rest days due..topping up with iron n fresh food warm showers n soft beds. After 740km since Normanton I think a rest day is due.
